Kevin L. Kobie

Kevin L. Kobie, 67, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2021. He was born in Massillon on April 27, 1954 to the late Lawrence “Larry” and Shila (Zapp) Kobie. Kevin was a 1972 graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended Kent State. Kevin was a Plain Township Volunteer Firefighter. He is survived by his daughter, Zephyr A. Kobie; grandchildren Carl Deacon Dyer and Arthyr Dyer; sister, Lori K (Peter R) Eaglowski; and a nephew, Miles C Eaglowski. His passion was owning and operating Water Service Company for 27 years. Kevin enjoyed playing guitar, golfing and woodworking. He was a gifted musician and an extraordinary guitar builder. Gone too soon! A Private Memorial Service was held.
