Kenneth Walter Bolender, 86, passed away at home following a brief illness on September 27, 2021. He was born in Massillon on August 17, 1935 to Chester and Laureen (Hoffstetter) Bolender. He served in the United States Army and retired from Timken Company after fifty years. Ken will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, and spending time with his family and his love of world traveling. Ken also was able to meet Mother Teresa in India. He was a long time Massillon Tiger Football Ticket Holder. Ken loved to collect and restore antique cars and tractors and also had one of five Round Barns that exist in Ohio on his property. He is survived by his children, Jill (James) Hardy, Julie (Steve) Palmer and Colleen (James) Riley; grandchildren, Jordan (Kaylee), Tanner, Logan and Jamie; siblings, Diane (Rev. Larry) Emery, Deborah Phillips and Jeff (Kelly) Derr. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Billie (McCullough) Bolender; and siblings, Jim Bolender, Patricia Webster and Karen Dale. A private gathering was held.
