Kenneth W. Wilson, age 88 of Massillon passed away Monday May 28, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center Massillon Campus. He was born on January 30, 1919 in Massillon to the late John W. & Lillian (Hug) Wilson. Kenny was a 1937 graduate of Washington High School and the Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music. He served as a medic with the US Army in Europe during WW II and received an honorable discharge. He met Dorothy Crookston and married her while playing with the Firestone Philharmonic Orchestra. Kenny retired from Tyson Rolling Bearing Co. All during the time at Tyson, he continued to teach piano and violin lessons. In addition to his wife Dorothy (2001) and his parents; he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Tina Wilson (2003); grandson David Hazel (1990); two brothers Karl and James and a sister, Loretta Duda. He is survived by three children and their spouses; Teri & Dennis Hazel of Massillon, Bruce A. & Nada Wilson of Jackson Twp., Kim D. & Bernadette Wilson of Norco, CA; sister, Isobel (Jim) McKelvey of East Greenville; grandchildren, Jody, Cara, Gregg, Michael, Danny, Greg, Chris, Tiffany & Thomas; great grandchildren, Brent, Nicholas, C.J., Cory, Jimmy, Hunter, Myah, Taylor, Kylie, Noah, Calib, Darah, and Hunter. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday at St. John United Church of Christ in Massillon. His burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
