Kenneth Ray Herring, Sr.

Kenneth Ray Herring Sr., 72 of Massillon, was called home on Sunday, December 6, 2021. He was born in Massillon to Earnest and Addie Herring. Kenneth worked as a marine painter for Newport News Shipbuilding. Was an avid sports fan of the Massillon Tigers and Cleveland Browns. He loved music in his younger years lead vocalist of rhythm and blues band Body Heat. Loved supporting his family and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved son, Terry Allen, his brothers, Bobby Herring, Jackie Herring and his sister, Rozetta Brewer. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories; two daughters, Talitha Herring, Alithia Herring, #1 son Kenneth (Keresia) Ray Herring JR. Four grandchildren De’Sheia, CJ, Cullen and Landynn. Great-grandson C.J. Gates, Four brothers, James (Theresa) Herring, Gerald (Rochelle) Herring, Edgar (Yvonne) Herring, Otis (Jeannie) Herring; Best Friend Walt Sanders and a host of family and friends The family will receive friends at Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 2pm- 3pm with a Celebration of Kenneth’s Life at 3pm.
