Kenneth P. Hutton, 68, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2023. He was born on December 10th, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, the youngest of three children born to Ervin and Dorothy Hutton.
Ken greeted everyone he met with open arms, and let faith guide each of his steps through his life as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He pursued electronic engineering and technology studies at Stark Tech, and graduated with a business degree from Akron University.
Early in his career he worked at General Binding Corporation, where he was introduced to the love of his life, his wife of 42 years, Carol (Cawrse). He spent the majority of his career at Diebold, as well as Bass Electronics. Ken and Carol were married on August 9th, 1980 and later welcomed their three children, David, Peter and Shelby, into the world.
Ken’s family remembers his affinity for tinkering and fixing anything he could get his hands on. His energy for life was ceaseless, and he was always ready to provide a listening ear, crack a smile, and offer the best hugs in the world (lovingly coined “Hugginstein” by his kids). He rarely met a stranger, and if he did, they didn’t stay strangers for long. His unwavering faith in the Lord shone through his every decision, and always had a piece of wisdom to pass down.
Ken is survived by a family he loved with all his heart: his wife, Carol, children David, Peter (Kirstin) and Shelby (Alex Parton), granddaughter Rylie Parton, and brother Dale (Cathy).Preceding him in death were his parents Ervin and Dorothy Hutton, and sister Karen (Sweany).
