Kenneth E. Hagans, age 89 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. He was born on May 23, 1921 in Mohawk, Ohio the son of the late Parker and Mary (Lint) Hagans. Ken was honorably discharged from the Army after serving during WWII. He retired from Union Drawn in 1980 after 39 ½ years as a maintenance foreman. Ken was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3124, a life member of the Army/Navy Club #207 and a life member of the Eagles #190. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1992; his sisters, Clare Tucker, Nellie Zuar and Edith Robinson; his brothers, Raymond, John and Willard. He is survived by his daughter, Constance ‘Connie’ Spees of Massillon; his grandchildren, Jodi Spees, Lori (Michael) Liskey and Jeffrey (Lorie) Spees; his great-grandsons, Todd and Travis Liskey; his brothers, Donald Hagans and Parker (Carrie) Hagans, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Jacobs will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
