Kenneth A. Varner

Kenneth A. Varner, age 76 of Massillon, died on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1934 in Ritchie County, WV was the son of the late Jennings and Merlene (Nicholson) Varner. He was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School where he played football. He retired from Jones Motor Company where he was a driver and also worked at Nicholson Auto Sales and Earth N Wood. He was a member of the Church on the Move. Ken is survived by his son Jeff (Kim) Varner, his daughters, Susan (Randy) Weiford, Beth (Guerrero) Bustamante and Greta Smith, his grandchildren, Angela, Tim, Bryan, Nick, Corey, Matt, Justin and Scott, 8 great grandchildren, his sister Loretta (Frank) Blake and special friend Barb Hedge. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Overholt officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 P.M. and on Tuesday one hour before the service.
