Kendra S. Zimmerman

Kendra S. Zimmerman age 57 of Lake Cable died April 15, 2008 at her residence. Kendra was born September 29, 1950 in Minster, OH to Dr. R. C. & Patricia (Morsey) Schnelle and moved to the Massillon/Canton area in 1982. She was a member of multiple community, church and hospital organizations, serving as a board member and president of many. She was active in volunteer and social programs of the community, serving as a Guardian-Ad-Litem for Canton Court System. Also was a foster parent for newborns through the Catholic Community League. In addition to her community activities, Kendra was a former 3rd grade teacher at St. Michaels School. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Courtney and her father, Dr. R. C. Schnelle. Kendra is survived by her husband of 35 years Dr. Donald M. Zimmerman of the residence. They have two children: Paige Zimmerman of Columbus and Todd Zimmerman of Trenton, NJ.; a grandson, Andrew, her mother Patricia Schnelle, a sister Michelle Bauerband of Boston and a brother Keith Schnelle of Minster, OH. A Memorial Mass will be 10 AM Saturday April 19, 2008 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Fr. Bradford Helman will officiate. The family will receive their friends from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass and again in Fannon Center following the Mass.
