Kay L. (McElroy) Wells, formerly Attar, age 62 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 with all of her family at her side. She was born on April 11, 1954 in Cambridge, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby (Cox) McElroy. Kay worked as a receptionist at Kidney & Hypertension Consultants. She was a member of Crosspoint United Methodist Church. Kay is survived by her husband, Russ A. Wells, her children, Michael (Danielle) Attar, Eric (Kim) Attar, Kari (John) Wolonsky, Allen (Nikki) Wells, Kelly Wells, Tim (Katie) Wells and Chris (Stephanie) Wells. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kaylee, Ruby, Mia, Jack, Ramsey, Jayden, Ella, Gabe, Cecelia, Grady, Cruz, Nolan and Lillian, her mother-in-law, Mary Wells and her stepfather, Michael Ammar. A service to celebrate Kay's life will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE in Massillon, with Pastors, Thom Kalb and Sturman Moore officiating. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kay's name may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
