Kay L. Medure, 60 of Tuscarawas Township, went home to everlasting peace and comfort in the loving arms of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Kay was born on October 8, 1955 in Massillon the daughter of Arthur and Pauline (Barkes) Fair. Kay was a 1973 graduate of Fairless High School, then she attended Kent State Stark University. She had more than 30 years of service at KeyBank. Until her illness, she was an executive assistant to the market president for Akron, Canton, and Mahoning Valley. Kay loved spending time with friends and family, her home, being outdoors, remodeling projects and the interaction with her friends at KeyBank. She especially loved her rescued pets. Kay was preceded in death by her father Arthur Fair, grandparents, Vernon & Maude Fair and Oliver & Lillian Barkes, mother-in-law Margaret Medure, father-in-law Anthony R. Medure, Sr. and brother-in-law, Dominic Medure. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony R. "Ozz" Medure, Jr. whom she shared over 39 years of marriage; mother, Pauline Fair; brother, Keith (Linda) Fair; cousins, Sheila (Ed) Lawson and Tom (Sue) Fair; sister-in-laws, Sheila (Curt) Taylor, Susan (Lee) Medure-Cantrell, and Leeann Medure; special cousin, Coletta (Lonnie) Ward; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff in ICU at Aultman Hospital, the entire staff of various departments at Mercy Medical Center and Tri County Hematology and Oncology for their professional and compassionate care. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon with a reception to follow.
