Kathleen R. Santilli, age 96, of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 02, 2021. She was born in Massillon on April 30, 1925 to the late Edward and Cecilia (Grosswiller) Romer. She was a 1943 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She was married to Donald Grassler until his passing 1960 and later she married Robert Santilli until his passing. Kathleen worked as an Administrative Secretary for TNL Pest Control until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massillon, where she served on the St. Mary’s Rosary Society, and was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She also was involved with the Tannet and the Knights of Columbus Isabelle’s. She will forever be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son David Grassler; her daughter Karen Brown; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister Rita Kline and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents and her husbands, Kathleen was preceded in death by her son Gary Grassler; her daughter-in-law Kay Grassler; her sisters Dorothy Laubacher and Arlene Prine and her grandson Matthew Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massillon. Burial will follow at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church.
