Kathleen "Kathy" V. Boley

Kathleen “Kathy” Boley, age 91, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, October 08, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 20, 1930 in Canton to the late Ed and Elsie (Eben) Huet. She was a 1948 graduate of Mount Marie High School. Kathy worked for the Clerk of Courts in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and later retired from the Twinsburg City Schools Treasurer’s office in 2001. She enjoyed crocheting, flower arranging, reading, dancing, traveling especially on cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and Australia, the theater, classic movies and music. She enjoyed holiday dinners with the entire family and spending time with her friends. Kathy was a woman, who was devoted in her faith attending St. Cosmos and Damien and recently became a member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church. She contributed over the years to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. She will forever be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, mother, Aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Cathy) Boley, Bob (Kelly) Boley and Laurie (Ken) Hall; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 21 nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Larry Houmard; her brother and sister-in-law John and Collette Huet and her sister and brother-in-law Marie and Ralph Krall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on, Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon. The Very Reverend Canon Matthew Mankowski, D. Min. Pastor officiating.
