Kathleen Kate Shiplett

Kathleen “Kate” G. Shiplett, age 83 of Massillon, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1925 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late, Forest and Ferne (Hollinger) Camp. She was a lifelong area resident. Kathleen graduated from Washington High School in 1943 and had worked at Ferraro’s Bakery in Massillon. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Shiplett, her son Dale Shiplett, her daughter Darla Seenes and her grandson Michael Shiplett. She is survived by her sister Nelda Diana, her niece Dianne Diana, her grandchildren, Tony (Lisa Wood) Shiplett, Steven (Diane) Shiplett, Carolyn Seenes, Ron (Darlene) Seenes, Edward (Mary Alice) Seenes and Michael Seenes, all of her great grandchildren, he son in law Carl Seenes and her daughter in law Lisa Shiplett. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 West Tuscarawas St. Canton, Ohio with Rev. David deVries and Rev. Wendy Bausman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday at the Church from 10:30 - 11:00 A.M.
