Kathleen Ann Doherty

Kathleen Ann Doherty, 67, passed away on September 14, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on September 1, 1951 to the late Ronald Saylor and Jane (Adams) Saylor. Kathy was a 1969 graduate of Washington High School and a 1971 graduate of Timken Mercy School of Practical Nursing. She was a member of Faith Community Fellowship Church, where she taught Sunday School and was involved with Bible study. She was dedicated to God and her family. She was a loving big sister and a special aunt. She is survived by her children, Shaun (Jeanna) Doherty, Erin Doherty and Cody DeVault; Two grandchildren, Felicia and Collin; two sisters, Barb (Kim) Watts and Teresa Scharon; and a brother, David (Cheryl) Saylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Doherty. Friends and family will gather from 9:30am-10:30 am at Faith Community Fellowship Church, Massillon on Thursday, September 20, 2018 with a Memorial Service to follow at 10:30am, Pastor Mike Kager, officiating.
