Kathleen Ann Codispoti

Kathleen “Kathy” A. Codispoti, age 50 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, October 07, 2017. She was born in Massillon on February 13, 1967 to Jim and Sue Seifert. She was a 1985 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Kathy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Akron. Kathy dedicated her life to the service and care of others and was most recently employed by Shipley Child Health Clinic as a Home Visitor. She was a lifetime parishioner and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and School and volunteered her time throughout her children’s education. More than anything Kathy enjoyed spending time with her children and fiancé and could often be seen zipping around town with her youngest children from activity to activity. She was quite crafty with unmatched glue gun skills that lead to many hours of family fun. Kathy is survived by her fiancé, Michael Moauro; her children, Ryan Codispoti, Bailey Codispoti, Hannah Moauro, Taryn Codispoti and Suzanna Codispoti; her sisters Teri (Bud) Phillipi and Julie (Rob) Zobel; her brothers Rick (Debbie) Seifert, Jeff (his significant other Linda) Seifert and Tim (Diana) Seifert; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her canine companion Shady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massillon. Father Edward Gretchko officiating. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5-8p.m. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
