Katherine L. Ross

Katherine L. Ross, 93 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born on April 1, 1922 in West Union, WV and was the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Eva (Grant) Knight. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Patsy F. Ross, her sisters Lucille Arledge and Gladys Shank and her brother Clarence Knight. She is survived by her children; Randy (Ginny) Ross, Rod (Melanie) Ross, Nancy (Bob) Briggs and Sue (Dave) Repp, her grandchildren; Melanie (Brandon) Reynolds, Stephanie (Tim) Piecuch, Brandon (Heather) Griffiths, Carissa Griffiths, Lauren Ross and Anthony (Bethany) Repp, her great grandchildren; Jessica, Morgan, Stanley, Justin, Bella, Gavin, Gwenley, Arianna, Ian and Carter. Also surviving are her step grandchildren, Sherry (Chris) Miller and Wendy (George) Emmert, numerous step great grandchildren and her sister Ruby Ramsey and her brother Ray (Jackie) Davis. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with her pastor, Fr. Edward Gretchko of St. Mary's Catholic Church celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Memorial may be made in her name to either the Massillon Salvation Army or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
