Katherine D. Robinson

Katherine D. Robinson, 78 of Jackson Township, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Katherine was born on August 23, 1940 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Moon) Sungy. She was very caring, loving and generous. Katherine was always there to help others in need. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and an excellent cook. Katherine enjoyed vacationing to Florida with her sister, daughter and granddaughter. She was an avid sports fan and a Tigers Football season ticket holder for the last 24 yrs. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Sungy; half - sister, Margaret Ann Hughes; and half-brother, Cecil Moon. She is survived by her husband, William C. Robinson whom she married on December 7, 1957; her children and their spouses, Mark (Jan) Robinson, Jim Robinson, and Barb (Matt) Robinson-Milatovich; grandchildren, Matt, Julie, Adam, Kristen, Samantha, Nathan, Rachel, Sara, Jake, and Mary; great grandchildren, Malachi, Eletra, Abraham, Oliver, Kobe, Eli, Josalynn and Kole; brother, Tom (Patty) Sungy; her sister, and best friend, Delores Bower; and special dog, Gus.
