Karl A. Paulik, Sr.

Karl A. Paulik, Sr., 91 of Massillon, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014. Karl was born on August 9, 1923 in Massillon, the son of the late Joseph and Ann Theresa (Beckert) Paulik. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1943 graduate of Washington High School where he played football for the Tigers under Paul Brown. Karl was a United States Army veteran during WWII. He worked for Laborers International Union. Karl was a member of various hunting, and fishing clubs. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by numerous siblings. He is survived by his wife, Lavelle (Weick) Paulik whom he shared 68 years of marriage; his children and their spouses, Kathy (David) Moser, Karleen (Bob) Levell, Karl (Jackie) Paulik, Kay (Don) Spuhler, and Karrie (John) Giannelli; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Rita Reams and Zita Wantz.
