Karen L. "Kk" Williams

Karen A. "KK" (Jurkovich) Williams, age 53 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 with her family and friends at her side. Her death followed a courageous lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on August 12, 1960 in Massillon to George and Marianne (Kovacsiss) Jurkovich, Sr. They survive her. KK graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School in 1978 and worked at JRB Publishing where she was an administrative assistant. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Anna Kovacsiss and Tony and Mary Jurkovich and her in-laws, John and Mary Williams, Sr. Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, John L. Williams, Jr., the love of her life, whom she married on November 25, 1994, her brother, George and Vanessa (Farelli) Jurkovich, Jr., her sisters, Stephanie Busch and Maryann and Dave Cowley, her nieces and nephews, Tony, Krista, Jimmy, Ashley, Sarah, Joey and Rachel and her special friends and caregivers, Maryanne Snyder, Jan Oprean and Betsy Haubert. Also surviving are her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Beth Williams, many aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved pug, Simon. A memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday from 5-7 P.M.
