Karen L. Grisez, age 65 of Massillon, died on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born on December 8, 1944 in Canton, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She had been employed as a cashier at Food 4 Less for 18 years. She loved her animals, her dog Lucky and her cat, Missy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peggy and Bob Cramblett and Jim and Martha Hammond. She is survived by her children, Philip Grisez of St. Louis Park, MN, Pamela (Michael) Maloy of Gnadenhutten, OH, Christine (John) Gault of North Canton, OH and Patrick E. Grisez of Navarre, FL, her grandchildren, Talia, Kayla and Craig Maloy and Michael Presley, her sisters, Connie (Jim) Wolff and Kathy (Don) Herman both of Woodstock, GA, her step brother Lewis Hammond and step sister Gladys Wood, her fiancé, Tom Conrad of Massillon and her friend and former husband, Patrick R. Grisez of Massillon. A memorial gathering to celebrate Karen's life will be held in the community room at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Massillon on Thursday, February 25th from 6 to 8pm.
