Karen F. Rohr

Karen F. Rohr, age 74 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on September 5, 1942 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Martin James and Frances (Mrofka) Palaski. Karen was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School and went on to work at Massillon Community Hospital (Affinity). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Lepley and her brothers, Jim, Paul, Tom, Don, Chuck and Joe Palaski. She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Rohr, whom she married on February 17, 1962, her children, Kathy (Daniel) Hartman, Debby Rohr, Susan (Randy) McVicker and Chris (Rick) Smith, 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her sister Elizabeth Hickel, her brother Timothy Palaski, many cousins, nieces and nephews and her special friend Loretta Blake. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Karen's family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care they gave her and suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
