Karen Lou Biehl

Karen L. Biehl, 78, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Karen was born on November 9, 1946 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Norman and Mabel (Culler) Schall.

Karen was a lifelong resident of Massillon. She graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor's degree in Education. Following her graduation she taught 3rd grade at Jackson Elementary School. She also prepared taxes for H & R Block for several years. Karen really enjoyed shopping and decorating her home. She loved attending her son's sports activities. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Biehl whom she shared 58 years of marriage; sons, Norman (Lisa) Biehl, and Scott (Beth) Biehl; grandchildren, Sydney Biehl, Lauren Biehl, Hailey Biehl, Brody Biehl, and Nick Biehl; sister, Marsha Shankleton; and nieces, Stacy Shankleton, and Kerry (Brian) Wylie.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Schall.
