June Riley

Georgetta “June” (DeGordon) Riley, age 50 of Massillon went home to be with her Savior Jesus on Monday, October 18, 2010. She was born on August 19, 1960 in Pennsylvania and lived in Massillon for most of her life. She was a 1980 graduate of Washington High School where she was the Outstanding Senior Girl in the O.W.E. program. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was a lover of all animals, especially cats. June was preceded in death by her father, Gerald DeGordon, her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles DeGordon, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Owens and Mr. Kenneth Cline and her sister in law, Barbara DeGordon. She is survived by her son Troy Dean McCune, Jr., her mother Judi (fiancé George Matie) DeGordon, her sister Mary Ann Givens, her brothers Michael (Peggy) DeGordon and Charles DeGordon, her longtime companion Michael Smith and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her cat Misty. A service to celebrate the life of June Riley will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Roger Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. and on Thursday at the church one hour before the service.
