June R. Heckathorn

June R. Heckathorn, 73, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Alter Care of Navarre following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on June 14, 1939 to the late Edward and Catherine (Johns) Heckathorn. June worked as a Rehabilitation Assistant for 25 years at Apple Creek Development Center. She is survived by, a daughter, Christine Street Hartman, a grandson, Nicholas Hartman & wife Marcy, three great grandchildren, Landyn, Haidyn & Soraya Hartman, two sisters, Patricia Wentzel & Sue Richardson. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Rogers, Nancy Klett, Bonnie Skarpusis & Marlene Reese, & four brothers, Bobbie, Jimmy, Billy & Richard Heckathorn. Private services will be held at a later date and burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery.
