June Baker, age 89 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Amherst Meadows. She was born on July 3, 1922 in Carroll County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Frank and Nannie (Addleman) Leggett. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Isol and Wilbur Addleman. June was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Massillon Senior Center and the Senior Volunteer Committee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fherman G. Baker, her son Michael Traynor, her brother Jerry Leggett and 1 stepchild She is survived by her son, David Traynor of Massillon; her daughter, Patricia (Donald) Johnson, Ph.D., of New Mexico; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters, 4 stepchildren and her cousin and dear friend, Ruth Fox of Massillon. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Fr. Raymond L. Paul officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11:00 AM The family suggests memorial contributions be made in June's name to Harbor Light Hospice, 734 C Alpha Drive, Highland, Heights, OH 44143 Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory 330-833-3222
