June M. Gerber

June M. Gerber, 88 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016. June was born on October 20, 1927 in Lawrence Twp., the daughter of the late Lorne D. and Bessie K. (Fritz) Dibert. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for the Massillon State Hospital retiring after 20 years of service. June enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, ceramics, and needlework. She attended Newman Baptist Church. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jack L. (Jennet) Gore, Janet Sue (Kris) Coffield, Anne Bennett, and Sandra K. (Ed) Conti; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, John L. Gore and Larry Gerber and her daughter, Joyce Ann Boesman. A Celebration of June's life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. before the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark Co. Humane Society.
