June E. Willoughby

June E. Willoughby, age 94 of Massillon passed away on May 24, 2015. June was born July, 2, 1920 in New Philadelphia, OH to the late Lisle & Mary Rogers. She and her late husband Ted moved to Massillon in 1948 where he began a long career in banking & finance, most notably with People Merchants Trust Co. June was active in many community related activities; one of her favorites was as a board member and tour guide at Spring Hill historic home. She also volunteered at the Massillon Museum and Massillon Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted in 2000 and her brother Lisle Rogers Jr. in 2013. She is survived by three children Sally Garrison of Grove City, OH, Tim (Jane) Willoughby and Chris (Candi) Willoughby all of Massillon. June has seven grandchildren: Stacy (Zacary) Maynard, Taylor Willoughby, Sarah Quinn, Nathan Quinn, Christopher Willoughby, Sam Willoughby and Hanna Willoughby. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon. She will be entombed at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Following the services friends & family are invited to a celebration of her life at Glenmoor Country Club from 12:30 TO 2:30PM. The family would appreciate contributions to Spring Hill Historic Home or the Massillon Tiger Swing Band Booster Club.
