June Baltzer Watts

June Baltzer Watts age 92 of Massillon passed away September 18, 2009 at Meadow Winds. June was born August 11, 1917 in Homestead, PA to the late Roy & Jennie (Forester) Smillie and was raised in Massillon. She was a 1936 graduate of Washington High School. June was a dental assistant at the Massillon State Hospital and retired in 1984. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and the Massillon Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands: Louis E. Baltzer in 1982 and Clifford Watts in 1992. June is survived by a daughter and a son: Jill & Daniel Skirtich and Louis ‘Kim’ & Catherine Baltzer all of Massillon; six grandchildren, Susan Shertzer, Steven Skirtich, Christine Baltzer, Sheryl Piorkowski, Michael Baltzer, Sandy Skirtich, eight great grandchildren and a sister Dorothy Irons of Canton. Funeral Services were held today for the family at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Her nephew, Rev. Terry Baltzer officiated. Burial was at Brookfield Cemetery
