Gyula (Julius) Petyovszki, Sr. "Shorty", 84 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Budapest, Hungary on July 18, 1931. He escaped with his brother Frank during the 1956 Revolution. He left behind all he knew and those he loved. He retired from Ansell-Perry following 39 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Alex, parents, Andres and Karolina, his brothers, Josef, Andres and Frank, sisters, Anna, Maria and Julia, his wifes parents, James and Ann Fisher, their sons Robert and James Fisher and his sister-in-law Virginia Spangler. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jacqueline, sons, Julius, Jr., Jeffery , Andrew (Torri), and daughter, Carolyn Petyovszki ( fiance Joseph Boyle). Also surviving are his granddaughters, Sheena and Dakota, grandson Jacoby, great grandchildren, Lilly, Morgan, Kaidence, Britnee and Kameron and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday fro, 11a.m. – 1 p.m. with a service led by Fr. Raymond Paul at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
