Julia ‘Judy’ M. Yingling, 75 of Navarre, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Judy was born on June 28, 1941 in Canton, the daughter of the late Chester A. and Rosezella K. (Seikel) Piero. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Judy worked for the Fairless School District as a secretary and retired after 25 years of service. She had a big heart, with a strong love for her family, friends and her church. She belonged to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Judy enjoyed flower gardening and was head of the landscaping committee for many years at Village Plaza in Sarasota, FL. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Cynthia Joyce and her brother, John Henry Pierrot. She is survived by her loving husband, Don C. Yingling whom she shared 57 years of marriage; children, J. Darrel (Cheryl D.) Yingling and Connie Marie (Jay K.) Savage; grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, and Brent Yingling and James Savage; and sister, Sandra (Stephen Murphy) Piero. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care and special friends for their loving care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Fr. Edward Gretchko, Officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Donations may be made in Judy’s name to St. Mary’s / St. Vincent DePaul.
