Julia A. Gemmato

Julia A. Gemmato, 70, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Born in Massillon on October 20, 1944, Julia was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and spent the majority of her life in the Massillon area. She was a teacher at Massillon City Schools for 30 years, retiring earlier this year. She will be remembered by many as a caring mother, friend, teacher, and mentor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Gemmato, parents George and Thelma (Burkhart) Burry, and her father, Frank Marcus. She is survived by her children, Julia (Jim) Meyer and Courtney Gemmato. A private service will be held for the family.
