Judy Lee Tompkins

Judy Lee Tompkins, age 61 went home to the Lord on October 20, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues. Despite her illnesses, she managed to smile through the pain. She is now God's Angel, who will always be cherished as a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was born in Akron, graduated from Kenmore High School in 1971 and worked both in retail and for Visiting Nurse Service. She then moved to Jackson Township, where she did volunteer work as a passionate Sunday School Teacher for over 12 years at Jackson Friends Church and was loved by all. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Russell Tompkins; children, Krystal and Kevin; siblings, Michael, Linda and Susan. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Leonard and Doris Hunter. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. at Jackson Friends Church - 330-966-0616 .
