Judith Reese

October 12, 1940 — January 28, 2007

Judith Reese, age 66, of Massillon passed away Sunday morning at the Affinity Medical Center, Doctors campus. She was born in Massillon to the late Elmer & Margaret Beatty on October 12, 1940. After Judy graduated from WHS in 1958 she went to work for Finefrock Furniture store. On May 28th, 1960 Judy married her high school sweetheart & best friend, Roger Reese. Judy has three wonderful children that she enjoyed raising & watching them grow. After they had grown she went back to work at the Finefrock Furniture until their closing, then she began working at the Stark Co. Title Office until she retired due to her illness. Judy battled ovarian cancer for four years with the heart of a warrior, she was truly a mountain for others to look up to. As Judy was taking Chemotherapy she counseled & comforted other cancer patients. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Roger Reese of Massillon; a daughter and son in law, Jacquie & Brent Offenbecher of Massillon; two sons and daughters in law; Tim & Amy Reese of Centerville, OH and Mike & Vicki Reese of Massillon; her sister and brother in law, Peggy & Ron Mang of Massillon. In addition there are nine grandchildren: Julie & Joe Williamson of Massillon, Amy Offenbecher of Canton, Nicole Offenbecher of Massillon, Joshua Reese of Massillon, Jeremy Reese of Massillon, Justin Reese of Massillon, Brandon Reese of Centerville, Jordan Reese of Centerville, and Hannah Reese of Centerville and two great grandchildren, Rylee Jo Williamson & Reese Nicole Williamson, And a niece Diane Mang of Massillon and three nephews: John Mang of Japan, Chad Reese of Massillon and Bret Reese of Massillon. Her mother-in-law, Jean Reese of Massillon There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Massillon Boys & Girls Club or the Bell Tower Fund at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Massillon. Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd.
