Judith "Judy" Kay Holderman

Judith “Judy” K. Holderman, age 81 of Jackson Twp. Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 24, 1937 to LeRoy Engstrom and Evelyn in Hurst, Illinois, and raised by her parents Ray and Evelyn Carter in Massillon. She was a graduate of Jackson High School. She married William Holderman on January 24, 1957 and they shared 59 years together until his passing. Judy worked as a Cosmotologist. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Judy enjoyed playing cards, watching Law and Order, tending to her Roses and spending family vacations at Berlin Damn, boating on the lake. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Massillon. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Deborah (Gary) Hyde and Denise (Tom) Nunley; her grandchildren Garrett Hyde, Ginger (John) Middleton, Stephen Nunley and Kevin (Bekkah) Nunley; her great-grandchildren Jaycen and Terra Nunley and her brother-in-law Jack Holderman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ross Carter. A Graveside Service will be held at Newman Cemetery on, Monday, July 01, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A special thank you to her caretakers who became family during Judy’s final illness.
