Judith Ann Shonk

Judith Ann Shonk, 80, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Judith was born in Massillon, on February 13, 1943 to James Lee and Trava (Villard) Lee. She was a 1960 graduate of Jackson High School. Judith was an excellent seamstress. She would make teddy bears and life size dolls. She was also a member of Red Hat Ladies.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Shonk, and her brother, Jan Lee.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles J. Shonk, whom she shared 60 years of marriage; children, Todd (Sandy)Shonk, and Lori Shonk; grandchildren, Amber Shonk, Bradley Shonk, Steve Shonk, and Christine Shonk; sister Joan E. (Tom) Wackerly; brother, James T. (Mary Lou) Lee, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cathy Shonk; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aultman Hospital Medical ICU for their compassionate care.

According to Judy's wishes cremation will take place. There will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Stark County MRDD @ www.starkdd.org.
