Juanita May Jacobs, aged 80 passed away, October 12, 2011. She was born in Somerton, Ohio on May 5, 1931 to the late Homer Willison, and Elizabeth Truax Willison. She married James Jacobs on October 20, 1951 and they were married for 31 years until his passing on May 29, 1983 She worked as a Nurse for the Massillon State Hospital until her retirement. She was an active member in the Stepping Stones for Ohio Valley University, A member of the President’s Club of Avon and a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. She is survived by her children Sharon (Rich) Stalnaker, Karen (Steve) Tellep, Linda (James) Blackwell, Shirley (Dave) Trusky and Billy Jacobs. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and one brother Albert (Dawn) Willison. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son David Jacobs, step-mother Dessie Willison, and her brother Samuel Willison. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral home on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Bill Craddock, Jason Blackwell, Ben Blackwell, and Lance Lindenberger officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. Donations can be made in Juanita’s Memory to the Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch, 298 Middle Road, Riverhead, NY 11901. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Sterling House of Canton and to the Crossroads Hospice Caregivers for their quality care in Juanita’s final days.
