Joyce Ann Weisgarber

Joyce Weisgarber, 71, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1954 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Okie M. and Dorothy M. Hilterbrand.

Joyce was a 1972 graduate of Massillon Washington High School where she was a majorette. She worked for the Italian-American Club in Massillon for several years. Joyce also worked as a teacher's aid for Beech Grove Elementary in Tuslaw. She enjoyed volunteering and helping those in need. Joyce was a die hard Massillon Tigers fan, you could always find her at the football games on Friday nights. She was very outgoing and had too many friends to count. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and spending time with her closest friends. Everyone who knew Joyce loved her, and she will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her brothers, John Hilterbrand, and Charlie Hilterbrand.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dale Weisgarber; daughters, Wendi (Shane Siemund) Bennett and Brooke Weisgarber; grandchildren, Haley Bennett, Kane Weisgarber, Kamdin Weisgarber, Aurora Siemund, and Daphne Siemund; sister, Brenda Ferrel Dyess, of Fort Myers, Florida; and a large extended family who she loved dearly.

There will be no services at this time, per Joyce's request.
