Joyce (Taylor Hahn) Gang Starner, left this earthly life to begin eternal life with Almighty God on July 12, 2017. She was born September 20, 1927 in Akron. She graduated from Kenmore High School in 1945. While working at Elmer’s in Kenmore she met and married Robert Hahn. They have three daughters, Christine C. Pearl, Cathline C. (Bill) Jones and Gloria Gail (Jim) Mizeres. Joyce worked at Polsky’s Department Store for 14 years retiring as assistant controller. She later worked as an accountant at a CPA firm, then at STA-WARM Electric. In August 1987, Joyce married Eddie Gang and enjoyed a life of world travel and happiness. He passed away in March 1995. Joyce did volunteer work throughout her life and while volunteering for AARP Tax Preparation met Donald Starner. They married August 6, 1997 and have enjoyed their golden years together. Joyce is survived by her husband, Donald; three daughters; four step-children; seven grandchildren, including Mark Bloomer and Mike (Kimberly) Bloomer to whom she was very close; and eleven great-grandchildren “ Mom - Jim and I will miss you so very much, but hold you in our hearts until we meet again…Gail” Our sincere thanks to Dr. Christopher Chow, Mercy Hospice, Canton Regency and Pastor John Telloni for their kind care, both physically and spiritually. Friends may call at the St. John Lutheran Church, 1900 Wales Rd. NE Massillon, on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 9:30am-11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am.
