Joyce "Joey" Allen Coverdale

Joyce “Joey” A. Coverdale, 83, of Massillon, passed away at his home on March 14, 2018. He was born on January 4, 1935 in Adams Mills, Ohio to the late Brent and Odessa (Corder) Coverdale. Joey proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. He married Wanda Shreffler and they shared 55 loving years together before her passing in 2016. Joey worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years where he retired from. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, drinking wine and building programs on his computer. He will be deeply missed by his son Kenny (Lisa) Shreffler; grandchildren Mandi (Shawn) Rohr, Bonnie Shreffler, Melissa (Nick) Laskovski, Todd Jordan, Pete Shreffler, Rashelle Rearick, Kile Fisher and Travis Fisher; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
