Joyce Heesun Thompson

Joyce Heesun Thompson, 59, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, September 20, 2024. Joyce was born on July 3, 1965, in South Korea to John and Helen Lah.

Joyce was a very loving and devoted mother. Joyce had a heart of gold and would help anyone she could. Joyce loved spending time laughing and talking with family, and friends. Other things Joyce enjoyed, talking with friends on Facebook and her newfound love of doing diamond painting, her favorites were the personalized ones she would do for the ones she loved. Joyce will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her parents, John and Helen Lah of St. Augustine, FL; daughter, Annamae Thompson, and sons, Robert (Amy) Thompson and Joshua Thompson; brothers, John (Rhonda) Lah, and James (Katrina) Lah; grandchildren, Domonick Thompson, Cameron Thompson, and Gaven Thompson; nephew and nieces, Andrew Lah, Jennifer Lah, and Julia Lah; friend and roommate, Rebecca Spencer; and how could we forget her feline kids Karma, Chancey, Mochi, Mai, and Inky.

The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday October 4, 2024, from 10 am - 12 pm with a funeral following at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
