Joyce Eckenrode

Joyce L. Eckenrode, age 57, of Navarre passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 10, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. Joyce was born August 20, 1952 in Massillon the daughter of the late Charles and Doris (Skelly) Dziegeleski. She was a District Manager for Subway Restaurants. Joyce enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, playing bingo, gardening and caring for her two cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, and grandchildren who she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. On June 4, 1983 Joyce married Terry Eckenrode and he survives. Also surviving are children Eric Schrock of Canton, Josh (Holly) Eckenrode of Navarre, and Robin (Marc) Luxenburg of Massillon; grandchildren Katelyn and Marcus Luxenburg; sisters Carol (Michael) Axe of Navarre, and Leslie (Eugene) John of Wadsworth; niece Alyshia John. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 73 Canal St. E, Navarre. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
