Joyce A. Goodwin

Joyce A. Goodwin, age 70 of Canton, formerly of Morgantown,West Virginia, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born on November 24, 1937 in Morgantown and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cecelia (Bengen) Smith. She retired from Bell Atlantic where she was a telephone operator. She is survived by her daughter, Staci (Rick) Snider of Parkersburg, WV, her son Scott Goodwin, her grandchildren, Chloe & Cheyenne Goodwin and Cameron England, her brothers Joseph (Betty) Smith of Massillon and George (Mary Ann) Smith of Altanta, GA, her sister Ann Kennedy of Abilene, TX and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours or services planned and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
