Joy Levon Blackburn

Joy “Levon” Blackburn, age 72 of Massillon, passed away on January 14, 2021. Levon was born on August 29, 1948 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Richard and Gladys (Eaton) Kilpatrick. She worked as a beautician and for a day care center for many years. She adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very social and liked to go out to eat and meet new people. She loved traveling back to Oklahoma, as well as cooking and baking. She was an active member of the Cathedral of Life Church in Canton. Levon was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, David, children, Michael (Julie) Kovatch, John (Diane) Kovatch, Jennifer Cook, Tayler Blackburn, Christopher Blackburn, Katie Blackburn, Angie Blackburn, and Gage Blackburn, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and brothers, Rick (Shirley) Kilpatrick, Mickey Kilpatrick, and Bill Kilpatrick. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
