Joy L. Joseph

Joy Louise Joseph, 97, passed away on May 22, 2017 following a brief illness. She was born in Brewster on February 4, 1920 to the late George T. and Evelyn (Woods) Nestor. Joy was a graduate of Brewster High School and Canton Actual Business College. With her late husband, Cecil J. Joseph, they owned and operated the Farmfresh Dairy and later Sunrise Dairy on West Main St in Massillon. Following the sale of the Dairy, she managed medical and other offices until her retirement at age 92. Joy was dedicated to her family and her community, volunteering her time with The Red Cross, Aultman Hospital and Massillon Community Hospital. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Joseph of Navarre; grandchildren, Kenneth J. (Colleen) Joseph and Keith W. Joseph; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Kenny, Kaylee, Alexander and Alexis; and great-greatgrandchild, Tyler. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard T. Nestor; and her sister, Donna Brediger. A private ceremony will be held for family. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
