Joseph S. Cammarata, 84, passed away on January 28, 2019, following a brief illness. He was born on February 5, 1934 in Canton. Joe was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and retired from Ford Motor Company after thirty years of service. He was an avid golfer and loved trips to his home in Garden City SC. His pride and joy was his grandchildren. He was always proud of his family and the many others he took in as his own. Joe never left anyone leave his house hungry. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, JoAnn (Elden) Cammarata; their children, Paul (Linda) Camarata, Thomas Camarata, Jodi (Dave) Ramsey, Ricci (Karen) Camarata, Toni (Rick) Roberts, Julie Camarata and Kevin Camarata; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Define; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and best furry buddy, Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Ann Cammarata; sister, Josie Aiello; and son-in- law, Dennis Smith. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 1pm-5pm in the Paquelet Funeral Home.
