Joseph M. Ross

Joseph M. Ross, 72, passed away on March 16, 2017, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on August 28, 1944 to the late Joseph and Mary (Staken) Ross. Joe was a 1962 graduate of Washington High School, a veteran of The United States Navy and retired after a long, successful career in sales. He was very dedicated to his family, was a caring, loving person, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Joe was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He is survived by his two brothers, Frank (Pat) Ross and Denny (Darla) Ross both of Massillon; sister, Deanna Cowan of Delaware, OH; his beloved Aunt Georgia, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His wish was to have a private graveside service at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Stark County Humane Society or the Canton VA Outpatient Clinic.
