Joseph J. Tisler

Joseph “Jerry” Tisler, age 77 of Lawrence Twp., passed away on November 23, 2017. He was born on May 03, 1940 to the late Joseph and Helen Tisler. Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Lorain High School and attended Graceland College, where he played football. He served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Africa in the 1960’s. Jerry was an automotive enthusiast, who liked every aspect of cars including building, repairing and racing. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. Jerry is survived by his children Amy (Brad) Cioca and Christopher (Danielle) Tisler; his grandchildren Emma Balizet, Samuel Balizet, Caleb Tisler, Caeden Tisler, Cooper Tisler and Carson Tisler; his mother Helen Tisler; his sisters Nancy Chatman, Cheryl Espenschied, Marilyn Lang and Genie (Larry) Tedford as well as a host of family and friends.
