Joseph Edward Shaidnagle

Joseph Edward Shaidnagle, 68, joined the De Colores Chorus on June 20, 2017 in Jacksonville, MS. He had lived in Massillon for a few years in the 1960’s. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shaidnagle, sister, Harriet Louis and nieces, Teresa Joseph and Tammie Hepler,and sister, Ella Reed and nephews, Jeffery and Timothy Reed, and a host of other nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, David Edward and Mary Agnes (Gephrey) Shaidnagle, brother, David Edward Shaidnagle, Jr., sister, Rita Shaidnagle and special friend, Marcella Perkins. Joe was a 1969 graduate of MS School for the Blind. He was an active member of The National Federation for the Blind and was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Friends may gather at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Edward Gretchko on August 26, 2017 at 9:30am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
