John Robertson Iii

John “Yogi” Robertson III, age 80, of North Lawrence, OH passed away Thursday December 17, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. He was born February 23, 1929 in North Lawrence the son of the late John and Emma (Rost) Robertson Sr. John was a tool and die setter for Ekco Housewares and retired after 46 ½ years of service. He was a 1947 graduate of Washington High school and served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1952. John served with the North Lawrence V.F.D. for 40 years. He enjoyed building bird houses, gardening, and fishing and in younger years coached youth baseball. On October 1, 1955 he married his wife of 54 years Jacqueline (Lagneaux). She survives along with sons Thomas (Mary) Robertson of Massillon, Tim (Betsy) Robertson of North Lawrence, Jim (Terri Strubel) of Massillon; daughter Pat (Larry Miller) Robertson of North Lawrence; grandchildren Amy, Kelly, and Brittany; sister Francis Miller of Canal Fulton. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister. There will be no services but friends may visit with the family at their home in North Lawrence Saturday evening December 19th from 5-8 P.M. The Arnold- Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd.
