John Robert Piper

John Robert Piper, age 66 passed away on December 17, 2013 in Pompano Beach Florida. He was born in Massillon on November 25, 1947 to the late Lewis and Eleanor (Lucius) Piper. John served his country in Vietnam and was severely wounded. He retired from the United States Army. He was survived by his sister Mary Jo (Robert) Sand until her passing on March 27, 2014 as well as his brother James Piper; his sister-in-law Carol Piper; his longtime friend Jill Gray and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Hills Burial Park on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 10 A.M.with military honors.
